ohhhh.. I really think that when my therapist talks about unconditional love, she's talking about whether people deserve to be loved unconditionally? Not about whose love that should be, and definitely not about what people owe or are obliged to feel. I'm pretty sure she would say that if you feel something then you feel it, and if don't feel something then you just don't. And that you shouldn't try to control your feelings because you think you should feel something different. But you know what, I'll ask her tomorrow.
